Combination Amplifier Stand

If you're not an electric guitar player this may seem a bit strange but if you are, you'll know what we mean.  Playing on stage or in rehearsal, guitar players always seem to have difficulty hearing their own sound without blasting out the rest of the band.   If your drummer isn't in a cage, the drums can get a bit too loud which means you have to turn up your amp, which means the mix out the front end is wrong and the other guitar player turns his amp up 'cause he can't hear what he's doing and the vocals go wonky 'cause they can't hear ANYTHING anymore.   Then everyone gets earphones or head sets and then you need a bigger board cause nobody has any idea anymore of what's going on so you need a new monitor system and if y'all don't kill eachother or at least don't go deaf in the meantime...   and so it goes....   Eventually your audience goes home and tells their friends: "I couldn't hear anything but the Bass Guitar or the drums or the lead guitar was awful or the singer was off key half the time".

WELL, here's a way to fix part of the sound problem... the ampJaxe will tilt your amplifier so the sound is no longer blasting past your knees but directed to your ears and you can actually hear yourself play without blasting the Celestions and annoying everyone else.   The front end mix can be adjusted properly and everybody, especially your audience, is happy!

The ampJaxe can be flipped over to provide two different angles of attack. One is for close quarters (the stage is never big enough) and the other is when the amp can be about six or eight feet behind you.

Another issue is sound transfer through the floor.   Some amplifier stands leave your amp sorta hangin' in the air and it loses some of it's resonating qualities (there is a reason they make the cabinets the way they do).   The ampJaxe has special protective "feet" and amplifier protection with a special density material that won't damage the floor and won't damage your amplifier but, will still provide good sound transfer and resonance.

The ampJaxe is available in different widths to accomodate different sizes of amplifiers, from the smaller practice amp to the larger "twins".   Sorry! the ampJaxe isn't designed for tall cabinets or stacks, they'll tip over backwards.   NOT what you want to have happen.   A word of caution... the amplifier needs a cross-piece across the back (most amps are already built this way) to avoid damage to the speaker.   OR, we can make a custom ampJaxe that will hold the amp on it's sides while avoiding the wheels or feet on the amp.

Usually the amplifier feet will fit outside the width dimension of the ampJaxe.   Check the spacing with your amp to ensure the feet or the wheels don't cause any issues but, not to worry, just let us know if you have any special requirements.   The ampJaxe standard colour is Black.   Here are the typical width dimensions of the ampJaxe:
15" - practice amp
17" - single 12" speaker type
24" - inside feet dual speaker"
26" - "the Twin"
